The Go-Lab team's latest teacher training workshop was successfully held in Taiwan, Taipei. Sixty in-service teachers attended the full-day workshop and learned more about the Go-Lab Ecosystem and how to best adapt it to their curricula.
The Go-Lab Summer School 2018 was held in Marathon, Greece from the 8th till the 13th of July. Thirty-four teachers from across Europe participated in this training event and learned about the Go-Lab Ecosystem and Inquiry-Based Learning. The Electrical Circuit Lab was developed by the University of Twente, who is the coordinator of the Next-Lab project. This year, the lab was selected as a winner of the 2018 GOLC International Online Laboratory Award (in the Simulated Experiments category).
The Next-Lab Project (Next Generation Stakeholders and Next Level Ecosystem for Collaborative Science Education with Online Labs) is a European research project focusing on introducing inquiry-based science education (IBSE) in schools. It has started on 1st of January 2017 and is the main sponsor of the Go-Lab Portal continuing the successful Go-Lab initiative.
