From the 15th until the 17th of June 2018, the 22nd Science Projects Workshop in the Future Classroom Lab was hosted at European Schoolnet in Brussels. It was co-organized by Next-Lab and Amgen Teach projects and welcomed 28 primary and secondary school teachers from 17 countries in Europe (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey).

It was a great opportunity for the 13 Go-Lab Ambassadors and the Next-Lab team to come together and exchange information on what is a good ILS, the new apps development and provide updates of the work done by Go-Lab ambassadors in terms of dissemination of the project in their respective countries!

Additional topics covered during the weekend were, among others: a shared leadership workshop, why follow up is important for activities and projects, and what the next steps are for our Ambassadors.

A true highlight were the inspiring presentations from three Go-Lab Ambassadors, who introduced AmgenTeach teachers to the world of online laboratories, explained the pedagogy behind Go-Lab, provided exhaustive information on how to navigate in the golabz.eu portal and what are the advantages of using lesson activities based on IBSL in a class. Moreover, the ambassadors gave examples of their own Inquiry Learning Spaces that they implemented in the classrooms in Belgium, Sweden and Latvia, explained how they prepared lessons using Go-Lab Ecosystem, and provided teachers with good examples of apps and labs form the Golabz repository.
