The University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) is a vibrant 30-year-old institution with 45,000 students, 5,000 world-class academic staff, and state-of-the-art facilities. Following our motto 'Give and spread knowledge', the UPV/EHU is an integrating institution willing to produce knowledge, experience, and research in order to forward them to the general public. We believe in education as a means to arouse our students´ awareness of the world and develop precious skills both for career and life.

The Faculty of Education and Sport of the UPV/EHU provide ideal opportunities for graduates to be trained to teach in Early Years (Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education), Primary (Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education), and Secondary Education (Master in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education, Upper Secondary Education, Vocational training and Foreign Language Teaching).

In the framework of the Next-Lab project and in close collaboration with DeustoTech Learning, we are developing different training sessions about the Go-Lab Ecosystem. Its main objective is to introduce to university lectures of STEM education areas and pre-service elementary teachers the use of online laboratories as well as inquiry-based science teaching techniques in order to help them develop, improve and enhance their teaching skills and practices.
